We kindly ask all guests to carefully read the following Terms & Conditions before confirming a vehicle booking with East Coast Travels. By proceeding with a reservation, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Vehicle Booking Terms
- You will receive the vehicle as displayed at the time of booking.
- In the rare case of unavailability, we reserve the right to substitute the booked vehicle with a direct equivalent or a higher-specification model at no additional cost.
- If you are traveling with oversized or heavy luggage, kindly inform us at the time of booking to ensure suitable vehicle arrangements.
2. Fully Inclusive Service
Our vehicle hire includes everything you need for a smooth and comfortable journey:
- Airport pick-up with a personalized name board
- Air-conditioned, well-maintained vehicle
- Experienced, professional English-speaking driver
- Fuel and comprehensive vehicle insurance
- Driver’s meals and accommodation
- All parking charges and highway tolls
- Government taxes where applicable
Not included (unless explicitly arranged):
- Guest accommodation
- Entrance fees to attractions, national parks, or guided tours
- Tips and gratuities for the driver
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Free Cancellation: Up to 4 days prior to the start date.
- Late Cancellation: Within 2 days of the start date – 50% of the total fee is payable.
- Last-Minute or On-Trip Cancellation: Payment for completed days is 100%, and 50% for any remaining uncompleted days.
4. Payment Terms
We offer flexible payment options with no advance payment required to secure your booking.
- For vehicle hire between 2 to 9 days:
- 50% payment is collected on the first day of the tour
- Remaining 50% is due on the final day
- All payments are made directly to East Coast Travels
Accepted Payment Methods:
- Cash in USD or LKR
- Any other major currency (converted at current exchange rates at the time of payment)
5. General Terms
- All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- Prices are calculated based on the travel itinerary shared at the time of booking. Any major changes may require a revised quote.
- We reserve the right to decline service to any guest behaving in a manner that risks the safety or comfort of the driver or vehicle.
